The Same Sun

The Same Sun, Sharon's second solo album, was recorded in Los Angeles at the home studio of famous producer Mitchell Froom. First released on September 16, 2013, Sharon toured the album extensively around the world into 2014. The title track was inspired by a trip to Tanzania as the Irish Ambassador for OxFam's "Ending Poverty Starts with Women" initiative. The album features a range of styles with an overall laid-back 70s vibe that complements Sharon's silky Karen Carpenter-like voice.
